ECHOES launch photo dragodid

A new project under the European Creative Europe Programme is launched

ECHOES project (Enhancing Cultural Heritage Skills Across Europe), which aims at cultural heritage professionals engagement and has as its main objective the preservation and promotion of European cultural diversity. The project brings together three organisations with a common background and experience on traditional building techniques and cultural and architectural heritage. In particular, the partnership is formed by Dragodid (Croatia) – which is the project leader, Boulouki (Greece) and Dry Stone Wall Association of Ireland (Ireland).

The project will be completed in May 2027 and during those thirty months, the partners will exchange good practices and experiences in order to co-create three cultural activities: a summer school in Croatia, a hands-on workshop in Greece and a cultural festival in Ireland. In parallel, partners will organise six capacity building workshops engaging external experts on a wide range of topics related to environmental sustainability and traditional building crafts, documentation of traditional knowledge – field ethnography, cultural mapping and tools for community engagement, contemporary art & cultural heritage, exhibition design and management.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, Creative Europe Program, action “European Cooperation Projects”.
