Shortly before the announcement of the first edited academic volume, “Under the Landscape | Emerging Alliances of Worlding,” Boulouki presents a valuable “diary” of research and action that takes us from the project in the field to the volume’s publication. Behind this anticipated publication lies a long journey that began in 2020, transforming field research into collective knowledge. Let’s take a look at the most important milestones along this path.

“Under the Landscape: Emerging Alliances of Worlding” is Boulouki’s first edited academic publication, bringing together scholars and practitioners to rethink landscapes beyond the divide between aesthetic object and resource. Emerging from a place-based initiative in Santorini and Therasia, the volume highlights how collaborations between art, craft, and environmental research can foster more just, relational, and sustainable ways of inhabiting the world.
