Boulouki inaugurates its Membership Programme!

Our vision at Boulouki is that traditional knowledge isn’t just history, it’s a vibrant, living resource. It’s a powerful tool, practical, cultural, and ecological, for building a more sustainable future. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce we’re launching the Boulouki Membership Programme, and we invite you to join our active community dedicated to cultural heritage, crafts, and sustainability.

Why a Membership Programme?

Over the years, many of you have asked how you can stay more closely connected to our work and support it in a steady, meaningful way. The Membership Programme was born from this need and from your valuable feedback during its research and design phase. It aims to deepen connection, collaboration, and participation. By becoming a member, you don’t just support our organisation, you contribute to a living ecosystem of people, places, and practices.

What It Means to Be a Member

As a member of Boulouki, you:

  • Actively support our restoration projects, workshops, and research initiatives
  • Gain access to events and early announcements of upcoming activities
  • Enjoy special benefits and discounts
  • Become part of a dynamic network that creates, exchanges, and evolves together

Your support directly strengthens work in remote mountainous and island regions, educational programmes for young professionals, and collaborations that connect traditional craftsmanship with contemporary challenges such as climate adaptation and circular building practices.

Subscription Plans

We have designed flexible membership options to ensure inclusivity and broad participation.

As an Individual Member, you do more than just participate. You will gain an insider’s view with a closer look at the organisation’s vision, ongoing projects, and activities. The community will also meet and network in two gatherings each year, fostering community and exchange.

There is also a Discounted Member option, which is addressed to young people aged between 18 and 25, undergraduate students, unemployed individuals, and people with disabilities. We believe access and participation should remain open and equitable, so with the aim to include with this plan are the residents of remote areas, small communities, in Greece and abroad.

Community Members are an important part of this programme. We value the non-profit organisations, collectives, small and large institutions, and foundations that work hard in their communities locally or on a larger scale, to have an impact on their mission and support the preservation of cultural heritage. Those who wish to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and support our mission at an institutional level are encouraged to become involved.

Professionals or businesses with technical interests are welcome to become Business Members. Becoming a member means standing behind a shared vision that traditional knowledge is essential. Small and large businesses, companies, and corporations interested in supporting responsible building practices, cultural heritage, and sustainable development could express their interest in joining the community.
