Boulouki participated in the conference titled “Dry Stone Masonry from Every Perspective!”, which took place on November 8 in Tinos, following an invitation from the Mediterranean Center for the Environment. As part of the event, Boulouki’s film was screened, while the accompanying text was distributed to participants in the conference folder, enriching the presentation and offering a broader theoretical and research framework.
The conference brought together approximately 50 participants, including professionals, researchers, and collaborators from Greece, France, and Mallorca, highlighting the international dimension of the dialogue around dry stone masonry as a cultural, environmental, and technical practice. At the same time, the event was livestreamed and is available on YouTube (Boulouki’s contribution from 2:09 onwards):
The work of the Mediterranean Center for the Environment will be further developed through an online platform, in French and Greek, mapping initiatives for the exchange of knowledge and experiences around dry stone construction, and strengthening dialogue between different places, approaches, and communities working toward its preservation and contemporary application.
We warmly thank the organizers for the invitation and hospitality, as well as all those who participated and contributed to this fruitful meeting.
