European Heritage Awards Ceremony 2024, Bucharest 

It was with great pleasure and honour that we were awarded yesterday at the historic Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest at the official ceremony of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra 2024 Awards. Ionas Slavounos, co-founder of the Boulouki, received the award in the category “Education, Training and Skills”.

The European Heritage Summit 2024, held from October 6-8 in Bucharest, featured various events, including Excellence Day, where all award winners had the opportunity to present their work, as well as the European Heritage Hub and the Policy Agora. The discussions throughout the summit underscored the key priorities and the vital role of cultural heritage in addressing the pressing challenges we face in Europe and beyond.
